Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Burmese, Cambodian, Cameroon, Chinese, Egyptians, Ethiopian, Filipino, Ghanaian, Hmong, Indian, Indonesian, Korean, Laotian, Mongolian, Moroccan, Nepalese, Nigerian, Pakistani, Saudi Arabian, Sierra Leone, Somalian, Sudan, Syrian, Taiwanese, Thai, and Vietnamese.

individuals were provided in-person education.

Over 14,000

at-risk individuals were screened for Hepatitis B.

Almost 8,000

at-risk individuals were screened for Hepatitis C since 2013.

at-risk individuals were screened for HIV since 2016.

Over 5,000

at-risk individuals were provided free Hepatitis B vaccinations.

Over 650

individuals infected with HBV (average 5%) were identified and linked to care services.

individuals infected with HCV (average 3%) were identified and linked to care services.

HBI-DC is a registered 501(c)3 nonprofit organization. Our organization’s mission is to mobilize communities to prevent liver diseases caused by viral hepatitis among Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders, African immigrants, and other high-risk groups.
