Christine E. Thomas, MPH serves as a Project Coordinator for the Hepatitis B Initiative of Washington, DC (HBI-DC), leading communications and marketing efforts for the organization, as well as heading selected grant reporting and monitoring and evaluation efforts.

She previously interned at the World Health Organization (WHO) in Geneva, Switzerland, supporting the International Health Regulations JEE mission reports analysis for capacity review and recommended next steps for monitoring and evaluation efforts, as well as national strategic planning goals through the production of a draft document for dissemination to regional offices, relevant technical officers, and departmental staff.

Prior to the WHO, she worked in Malawi with the Kamuzu Central Hospital to provide a retrospective data analysis on maternal mortality and its relevant impacts. Her previous work also include program management both domestically and internationally, data assessment and analysis in The Philippines, and other monitoring and evaluation projects.

Christine E. Thomas holds a B.A. degree in Music Composition from Oakwood University, and an MPH from Loma Linda University.

HBI-DC is a registered 501(c)3 nonprofit organization. Our organization’s mission is to mobilize communities to prevent liver diseases caused by viral hepatitis among Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders, African immigrants, and other high-risk groups.
