A native of Hong Kong, Dr. Chan-Hing Ma Ho is a highly talented, awarded, and multilingual family physician with over 17 years of experience in community development and well-being. Dr. Ho moved to the United States in 1979; after which time, she received an undergraduate Bachelors of Science degree in Biology and Medical Technology, as well as an undergraduate Associate of Science degree in Chemistry. In the spring of 1992, she received her medical degree at the University of Maryland – School of Medicine, and with that, an Award of Excellency in Emergency Medicine, for her exemplary performance and outstanding proficiency in Emergency Room procedures and Medicine. She later completed her residency at Franklin Square Hospital Center, while raising her two children, Ronald and Catherine, with the support of her loving husband, John Ho.
Dr. Ho specializes in various disciplines, including pediatrics, geriatrics, gynecological care, and minor surgeries, and has been committed to providing exceptional and comprehensive patient care as a family physician in the Maryland area. Outside of her daily work routines, however, Dr. Ho has also served on the Maryland State Advisory Board for a total of nine years, providing health insight and education in regards to vascular disease prevention as an experienced member, as well as a Chair. She has also actively supported multiple non-profit organizations as a speaker, educator, and advocate towards women’s health, as well as disease identification and treatment.
