Echo Zhang, CFP®, CRC®

Board Member

Echo Zhang, CFP®, CRC®, a Certified Financial Planner™ and Certified Retirement Counselor®, is the volunteer HBI-DC webmaster and Board member. She is the founder of Echo Retirement & Insurance Planning. Prior to establishing her independent practice, Echo Zhang was a Financial Planning Specialist at one of the industry’s premier global wealth management firms. She has more than 15 years of working experience in the field of accounting, finance, and insurance.

Echo believes a balanced life is the essence of happiness. As such she is dedicated to helping her community be a better place to live and work. She currently serves on the board of the following non-profit organizations: Organization of Chinese Americans – Greater Washington DC Chapter, National Association of Asian Professional Women, and Frederick L.I.F.E. & Discovery and Hepatitis B Initiative of Washington DC. She has been actively involved with Hepatitis B community education program. Echo received a Bachelor degree in Accounting from the University of Maryland University College (UMUC) and holds Series 7 & 66, and life & health insurance license. She is fluent in English and Chinese.

HBI-DC is a registered 501(c)3 nonprofit organization. Our organization’s mission is to mobilize communities to prevent liver diseases caused by viral hepatitis among Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders, African immigrants, and other high-risk groups.
