For 20 years, Health Betterment Initiative has evolved to meet the changing needs of the communities we serve. What began with a focus on hepatitis B has grown into a comprehensive approach to public health guided by population insight and supported by structured data management. Our work provides education, prevention, testing, navigation, and meaningful connections to care.

In 2025 alone, HBI provided more than 10,000 free health tests, reaching over 3,000 individuals.

Additionally, HBI was selected once again to serve as an insurance navigator through the Virginia Marketplace, helping individuals affected by job loss and economic instability regain access to coverage and sustainable healthcare.

As we celebrate this milestone, we remain committed to breaking barriers, building trust, and creating pathways to better health for every individual we serve.
