Dr. Mo-Ping Chow

Internal Medicine

Dr. Mo-Ping Chow was born in Hong Hong, and is a graduate of National Defense Medical Center, Taiwan. He immigrated to the U.S. in 1994, and currently practices at General Internal Medicine in Gaithersburg, MD. He has served as a fellow of American College of Physicians, and on the boards of Association of Chinese American Physicians and the Chinese Culture and Community Service Center. At the center, Dr. Chow is the Medical Director of Pan-Asian Volunteer Health Clinic, as well as the Medical Director of Adult Day HealthCare Center.

Of his extensive community service, Dr. Chow says, “When I was a new immigrant, I was grateful for the way the community generously supported me. Now that I am standing on my own feet, I am proud to be giving back to the community.

HBI-DC is a registered 501(c)3 nonprofit organization. Our organization’s mission is to mobilize communities to prevent liver diseases caused by viral hepatitis among Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders, African immigrants, and other high-risk groups.
