HBI-DC offers free hepatitis B, hepatitis C, and HIV screenings in DC, Maryland, and Virginia. We utilize our diverse partnerships to offer our services at health fairs, community events, and religious gatherings. Our mobile unit allows us to offer our services in other hard-to-reach parts of the DMV.

Health Screenings

HBI-DC encourages targeted at-risk populations to know their health status. HBI-DC offers free hepatitis B, hepatitis C, HIV, BMI, glucose, and cholesterol screenings to provide patients with a more comprehensive health screening. This approach also takes away a layer of stigma that might be associated with getting tested for viral hepatitis and HIV.

All screening results are stored in a HIPAA compliant database.

Hepatitis B Initiative of Washington DC (HBI-DC) is a registered 501(c)3 nonprofit organization. Our organization’s mission is to mobilize communities to prevent liver diseases caused by viral hepatitis among Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders, African immigrants, and other high-risk groups.
